2017 was a big year for East Clare Community Co-op. We celebrated our 30 year anniversary in October and we launched a Cookery School in August. We need to Thank all those who supported us whether by providing funding for our staff or services or events, or by donating to our Second Hand Shop or by being a customer in the coffee shop, or supporting the weekly Friday Market (back on the 12th) or through volunteering. A community can only thrive when people give their time and energy and support comes in many forms. It is not easy but it is important. SO THANK YOU to all the volunteers, staff and customers and to the following funders:
POBAL (for staff costs) ,TUSLA, for the family Support Service funding, IPB insurance and The Happy Pear for the Cookery School launch, Clare Arts Office, Creative Ireland Fund, Clare County Council, The Education and Training Board for supporting Community Education and Art. You all made our Community Happen last year:)
